The Division of Food Safety issues notarized Certificates of Free Sale to enable Wisconsin food processing firms to export their food products to other countries. To obtain a Certificate of Free Sale, a firm must be licensed by the Division of Food Safety and be in compliance with current regulations.

Gold Seal Version Description Here The United States and Wisconsin are recognized as free of Bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE). In the country of origin, there are animal health regulations that forbid the feeding of ruminant origin meat and bone meal to ruminant animals. We certify that the facilities, equipment and raw material and the processing and packaging procedures meet with all of the sanitary requirements of the State of Wisconsin rules which are based substantially on the federal Good Manufacturing Practice regulations (GMP). We also certify that the operations are in good standing in every respect. This facility is licensed by the State of Wisconsin. However, the inspection of this facility and the dietary or nutritional supplement products it produces are under the inspectional jurisdiction of the FDA, under a signed Memorandum of Understanding. We further certify that the products are pasteurized for a time at temperatures internationally recognized as effective for destroying pathogenic organisms. Specifically, these products have been produced from milk which has been pasteurized at 72° C or greater for a minimum of 15 seconds.

Regular or Special Service:

We offer two services and fees for certificates:

1. Regular Service - Will be processed within 3 business days and sent out using 1st class mail only. The fee for each set of certificates using Regular Service is $65.00. Allow 7-10 business days for delivery.

2. Special Service - Requests will be processed within 1 business day and sent out using Fed Ex or UPS. The fee for each set of certificates using Special Service is $100.00. Upload your electronic prepaid weigh bill for FedEx or UPS below.

Any request using a delivery service other than 1st Class Mail or requiring 1 business day service is considered Special Service. Requests will be invoiced separately.
