About Us

The Wisconsin Pest Bulletin is a seasonal publication supported by the survey and monitoring efforts of entomologists and plant pathologists at the State of Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. Published each Thursday from mid-April through August, the Bulletin provides pest population estimates, pest distribution and development data, survey and inspection results, alerts to new pest finds in the state, and forecasts for Wisconsin's most damaging plant pests. Each issue includes growing degree days, photographs, maps, tables, charts, and weekly data from an established network of cooperators around the state. The authors who regularly contribute articles to the Wisconsin Pest Bulletin are:
