Description Fevolden Farm is a family owned farm in west central Wisconsin, just outside Black River Falls. The farm has been in the family over 150 years since Ole Olson Fevolden came to America from Norway in 1869. In 2002 the current generation formed a partnership to begin raising Huacaya alpacas. We shear the alpacas in the spring. This gives us their warm soft fiber to make into yarn and other products and helps prevent heat stress in the animals. We process the fiber in our studio in Cottage Grove, WI to produce yarn, hats, scarves and other products. Products are sold at our Black River Falls and Cottage Grove locations as well as at local craft/fiber events and now through our online store.
